One year ago my book came out. It is still something I struggle to grasp. I walk into people’s homes or offices and see my name on a book on someone else’s shelf and the myriad of emotions that run through me fail to be confined by words.
Blood, sweat and tears went into the book. But the beauty of seeing what God has done through and with the book since it was published a year ago has been nothing short of incredible. I love getting e-mails, tweets, and Facebook messages from readers from literally all over the world telling me how God spoke to them through the book. I love the fact that, in some small way, I am connected to my readers, both through the book and through prayer.
Though I haven’t read through the entire book since it has been published, I’m never far from a copy of it. I’m incredibly grateful for the gift and labor of love it has been in my life, and I’m even more grateful for the ways that God has used it to speak to the hearts of so many.
