This sticker measures approximately 3'' tall.
The IHS symbol is a popular Christological monogram. Originally the IHS abbreviation came from the Greek abbreviation of the name of Jesus (ΞΞΞ£ΞΞ₯Ξ£ shortened to ΞΞΞ£). The Greek letter sigma (the funny looking E) in Latin is "S", thus forming the IHS monogram.
Throughout the centuries this monogram has taken on different meanings, including "Jesus Hominum Salvator", "In Hoc Signo", and others.
In 1541 Saint Ignatius adopted the monogram as one of the main symbols for the Jesuits. However, history teaches us that the IHS symbol is not specifically Jesuit. Rather, IHS is a well known symbol for Jesus.
With this classic symbol as inspiration, I took many titles and understandings of Jesus to prayer. From that prayer and reflection came the entire IHS sticker series.
This sticker in particular celebrates Jesus' role as the True Vine (see John 15). John 15 is such a beautiful chapter to reflect on as we strive to stay close to Christ. With that chapter in mind, the vibrant green vine is also the letters IHS, which wraps itself around the cross, clinging to Christ all the while.Β

My GORGEOUS blanket arrived today, and having read Amandaβs email I knew I was supposed to wash it right away. Laundry is probably my least favorite chore, but I wanted to use my new blanket so badly I made myself do a load of laundry. Now Iβm happily snuggled under it and remembering my beautiful trip to Our Lady of Good Help (Our Lady of Champion) in October 2021 and what a beautiful experience that was for me. Also, my dogs were so excited when I opened the bag that I had to warn them to keep their paws offβthey have enough blankets! π
We downloaded these Mass coloring sheets and have printed off a handful of pages for the last 2 weeks in a row. Our 3 year old and 6 year old each had a great time coloring 3 pages each.
Just so you know, 3 pages each will last until partway through the homily.

Bought this for our grandson who is 5. The material is beautifully made. He has played Mass many time, including reading from the Bible and a homily, since receiving his vestments. He loves it. And we love the idea of him wanting to be a priest! God bless the future of His Church.

I haven't actually given this gift to my children yet but from opening it and looking at the pieces I can tell everyone is going to love it.
