Are the blankets machine washable?
Yes, all of our blankets, including swaddles and Sherpa backed blankets, are machine washable.
Our recommended settings: wash with like colors on cool/cold water and tumble dry low.
What size are the blankets?
Depending on the design, worthy of Agape blankets are available in 3 sizes:
30''x40'' (comparable to a crib)
50''x60'' (slightly smaller than a twin size bed)
60''x80'' (roughly a queen size bed)
How long do blankets take to ship?
worthy of Agape blankets are made to order. Printing & production averages 3-7 business days and shipping (depending on location) averages 4-7 days, not including Sundays.
The apparitions of in Fatima, Portugal are among the most well known Marian apparitions in the world! Beginning in May of 1917, Mary appeared to three shepherd children: Francisco and Jacinto Marto (now Saints) and their cousin, Lucia Santos (now a Venerable).
Each time she appeared in the Cova Da Iria, she did so above a holm oak tree, also known as a holly oak tree.
This blanket is a subtly Catholic blanket, but if you know the symbols in it, you know how deeply Catholic it is.
The color of the blanket is a light yellow, a gentle reminder of the Miracle of the Sun that took place in October 1917 - a miracle witnessed by tens of thousands of people.
The leaves on the blanket are none other than that of a holm oak tree in bloom in early spring, similar to how they would have appeared during the first apparition of Our Lady.
In between the branches and leaves are golden swirls that are often pictured on Our Lady's mantle in various works of art.
All of these subtle symbols work together to remind us of what Our Lady told the children in Fatima, namely, that her Immaculate Heart will triumph.
Whether we see the sun dance or not, we know that Our Lady is always over us and that we, her children, are always under her maternal protection.
This blanket comes in two sizes: 50''x60'' and 60''x80'' and make for a snuggly blanket year round, especially with its bright colors and subtle hints of faith.
