Earlier this year I joined a 'club' of sorts - one I never wanted to be in. Quite frankly, I have yet to meet anyone in this club who wants to be in it. The 'club' is those of us who have lost a child.

In those initial days of grieving, I sought solace in something tangible to hold onto, a token to remember our little one by. I searched for rings, necklaces, and items linked to birth months, yet I grappled with the question of which month to choose. The month we received the joyful news? The month our precious one ascended to Heaven? Or perhaps the month of our due date?

As an artist, I found refuge in my craft. Why limit ourselves to one month when we can embrace them all? Thus, "Flowers from Heaven" came to be - a tribute to our little one and yours, honoring the significance of every month without the need to pick just one.

With "Flowers from Heaven," I hope to offer solace to those in the same "club" or those who know someone who is. This exquisite blanket serves as a reminder of the beautiful lives we held for a brief moment. May it bring comfort, just as the flowers from Heaven are sent to console us until we reunite with our little ones in glory.

As Saint Zelie famously writes, "they are not lost to me forever, we shall find them again in Heaven." Until then, may we feel their warmth and see their beauty in every passing flower.
