During the Cristero War in Mexico the Catholic Church was highly and massively persecuted. It was during that time that a large number of Catholics rose up and were ultimately martyred for their faith. Their rallying cry was a resounding, "Viva Cristo Rey" which translated to "long live Christ the King!"
The background of this blanket are the colors of the flag of Mexico, green, white, and then red. Additionally, the names of numerous martyrs are also included, but not limited to: Jose Luis Sanchez del Rio, Miguel Pro, Miguel de la Mora, Manuel Moralez, and more. May the rallying cry of these brave martyrs inspire you to proclaim the goodness of Christ with all that you are.
This blanket is available in two sizes: 50'' x 60'' and 60'' x 80''. Both are more snuggly and soft than you can imagine and will keep you warm all year long!
