holding myself Accountable.

Each year I set goals for every month of the year and I post them on the blog to hold myself accountable. Since we are about three months into the year, here’s where I stand:

January: Two nights a week, after Monkey is in bed, spend at least an hour editing/re-writing chapters of the book (continue this until the book is ready to go)

February: Go on at least one date night with Anthony <3. Consistently publish two blog posts a week.

March: Celebrate Monkey’s first birthday (even if it does fall on Good Friday)! Redesign the blog/format.

January: Still going on that one – only five chapters left to edit! My goal is to re-release the book (in my married name) on the anniversary of publication (May 14th, 2016)

February: I definitely published two blogs a week and that has only stopped while the blog was under construction. Anthony and I have had a few at home date nights and had one date night out the second weekend of March.

March: Monkey’s first birthday party is next weekend and I am SO excited! I can hardly believe she is already a year old – time sure flies! And, in case you can’t tell, the blog just got a brand spanking new layout and design!

cropped-cropped-woA-banner-final.jpgThe blog even got a new banner! The photo is of my bouquet from our wedding day with one of my favorite rosaries weaved through the roses. I hope you love the blog-redesign as much as I do. After five years (what?!) of blogging, I thought it was time for a fresh, new look. Plus, with images being featured on the front page slider, I’m going to have to be better about creating images to go with each post (truth be told, I’ve missed that side of the blogging world!). Feel free to wander around the site and let me know what you think, I’d love to hear your feedback!

Next week I’ll be back to the regularly scheduled Tuesday and Thursday posts – new content all the time! Also, while you are enjoying the new site, hop on over to @shop_agape on Instagram to shop my closet, plenty of items for dirt cheap!
